Shaena & Gabriel’s Downtown Los Angeles Portraits
We met up on a Saturday afternoon and strolled around Downtown Los Angeles to shoot some portraits and get to know each other before their wedding day!
We walked through Grand Central Market (above) and then went by La Cita (below) for some Micheladas. La Cita is hands-down my favorite place for a daytime drink and their neon interior always perk me up. Who says you can’t enjoy yourself during your engagement shoot? I don’t think it’s a coincidence that some of our favorite photos from the shoot came from the stop we made into this little bar.
Our last stop was to The Broad Museum, L.A.’s New Contemporary Art Museum. Luckily I was able to get us in with the help of a friend, as the line outside was wrapped around the building!
The perfect way to end the shoot was with one last portrait inside Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room. The installation is only up for another week at the Broad, so don’t miss out on the experience while you still have the chance!
