OXY ARTS: Mary Fagot, FLOW! Exhibition Opening

“Conceived by artist Mary Fagot, F L O W ! is an invitation to discover the magical nature of the physical environment around us.”

Over the summer, there are three installments for children 5-12 years of age that explore essentials to our day-to-day lives but that we often don’t think about — Fluids, Light, and Optics.

F L O W ! reverse engineers the learning process. The installations are an invitation to be immersed in the wonder of our physical world, then grapple with the “how” and “why” behind the experience. After exploring the installation, visitors enter a gallery space where hands-on models and interactive activities provide scientific context. A series of free, interactive workshops accompany each installation cycle.

You’re encouraged to visit all three installations throughout the Summer! Reserve FREE timed-entry tickets for a group of up to 8 people. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

The gallery will be closed between installations during the following dates: June 25 - July 4 and July 17 - July 25.
