Upcoming UK Travel Notes

I’ve been preparing for my upcoming trip to the UK beginning on September 19th, and I’m especially excited after a few conservative travel years during these COVID times.

I’ll be spending the first week at an artist retreat in South Devon at Colehayes Park, where I will get to share a beautiful manor house and Devonshire landscape with other artists. Writing and wild lake swims will be a part of my itinerary. 🦢🩱🖋

Afterward, I’ll head to Bath for a handful of nights, where I hope to keep feeding the spirit of creative reflection and research for an art project I have been laying the foundations for in the last year. I can’t wait for day and night walks through the city—being out in the world does so much to ground me. And visiting the ancient Roman baths is also a must. 🏺🏛

I’ve also built in a few nights in London during this trip, where first and foremost, I would like to visit the @museumofthehome. There are a lot of themes that run parallel to the work that I make, and I’m very keen to get lost in the “Rooms Through Time” exhibits. 🖼🪑🪴

I’m open to suggestions if you feel the desire to share! I’m also open to shoot during my time in the UK, so don’t be shy and reach out. 😊💌 I will have my digital and film cameras with me during my travels, otherwise shooting for myself and my practice… where it all began. ❤️
