Maisie & Raj's Two-Day Los Angeles Athletic Club Indian Wedding (Party #1), Downtown Los Angeles
Last December, Maisie & Raj planned two back-to-back parties at the Los Angeles Athletic Club in DTLA to honor each side of their family’s cultures. It was exciting to photograph such distinct celebrations, both with their own vibrant set of details and rituals. 💥❤️
For the first day, they organized a a semi-traditional Indian wedding, which included a baraat. A baraat is a celebratory wedding procession for the groom, involving live music and dancing, where he is seated on a ceremonial horse as his guests lead the way towards his bride.
