Jena & Conor's Family Ranch Wedding, Santa Cruz

🌻This is Jena & Conor’s wedding from last September 2021 at their family ranch near Santa Cruz. This was another wedding that had to be rescheduled when COVID hit but landed very gracefully a year later.🌻

I must note, Jena & Conor decided to exchange necklaces instead of rings during their ceremony, and man did witnessing that subtle change really tussle me up in the best way! What a beautiful gesture, one I had never seen in the 175+ weddings I have shot to date, and it was so intimate and electrifying.

This is proof that making personal, thoughtful choices can really have a big effect on your attending family & friends. 🌹 And me too!

(Also, it’s always a treat when you suddenly realize how many 🍓beautiful 🍓mutual🍓friends🍓 you had no idea you shared until you show up on their wedding day. I like to believe that it’s just proof that *the work* naturally attracts like-minded humans, which is what you always hope for in a business like this.)

I shot a lot of 35mm film on this wedding and I ate up all these incredible colors when I got the scans back from the photo lab! 😛
