Gina Clyne Photography = Approved APW (A Practical Wedding) Vendor!
ANNOUNCEMENT! I have become an Approved APW (A Practical Wedding)Vendor and have been included in their Vendor Directory!
A part of the process of applying and becoming a APW Vendor is taking the Vendor Sanity Pledge. I loved this so much and thought I would share with you what this pledge entails…
As APW-approved vendors, we agree that:
✔︎ …a wedding is an awesome party, but it’s the marriage that really matters.
✔︎ …it takes two people to get married. It’s not all about the bride (and sometimes there isn’t a bride to begin with).
✔︎ …we support LGBTQ couples right to marry, and are delighted to work with them.
✔︎ …we don’t charge a premium just because we heard the word “wedding.”
✔︎ …we will be upfront and fair about our pricing. We won’t surprise you with a secret fee because you want frosting on the cake, not just the cake.
✔︎ …you don’t have to have cake at your wedding.
✔︎ …however you decided to tie the knot, we’re on your team.
✔︎ …weddings come in all different shapes / sizes / colors / budgets / etc, but as long as you two end up married to each other, it will have been a successful wedding.
I agree to operate within the standards of the APW community and to conduct my business in a way that upholds the best business practices of my profession.
How wonderful is that?! This is something I can truly get behind. One of the joys of being a small business is finding like-minded organizations to partner with that match my personal and professional sensibilities. As a small business person, as a couple, as a person on planet earth: you truly are never alone out there in the world. Sometimes you just have to dig a little deeper to find what makes sense for you.
Ha, I’ve found myself beaming with love and optimism this cloudy morning in Los Angeles, so I’ll leave you all now on a high note! Happy Wednesday and be safe out there.
