Art Collection Tour: Private Video Pavillion, February 2015

In a period of just one year, Diane Klein has made a tremendous commitment to collecting video and film based works. Architect Daniel Monti of Modal Design recently completed Klein’s cutting edge, state of the art “jewel box” to display numerous projections in a space that will also serve as a creative/curatorial laboratory.

In close tandem with art advisor Veronica Fernandez, Klein has assembled a collection largely anchored in works that delve into gender, identity and socio-political issues. Artists who intelligently explore the properties of language also play a significant role in this growing collection. Wu Tsang, Ryan Trecartin, Petra Cortright, Liz Magic Laser, Kenneth Anger, Christian Marclay, Mark Bradford, Alison Saar and others.
